The Brick Works is an environmental community centre for exploring nature in the city.

About Heritage Concerns in Saskatchewan
Yorkton municipal heritage site
Yorkton has a Brick Flour mill and Elevator built in 1898. The original elevator (Lake of the Woods) was replaced in 1947. We have documentation and pictures on the history of the site. The Mill has been stripped of most of the equipment (unfortunately) however we are in the process of trying to save the site and buildings.
The Mill is designated a Municipal Heritage Site. The City now owns the property and are tendering to have all the Annex buildings and the elevator demolished but leave the brick mill standing. A few citizens are trying to save both the elevator and mill.
