About us The Conserving Canada's Industrial Heritage Network was established by the TICCIH Canada Committee, an informal group of individuals interested in promoting awareness of Canada’s industrial heritage and strengthening communications for this wide ranging and widespread community across Canada. The idea for the website born out of the INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH : CONSERVING CANADA'S INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE, a conference that was held in Hamilton Ontario in October 2009. TICCIH Canada Committee TICCIH, which stands for THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE CONSERVATION OF INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE, is an international organization committed to preservation, documentation, research and interpretation of industrial heritage.  The TICCIH Canada committee seeks to apply these objectives to Canada. The committee is made of up individuals representing the different provinces and/or regions who are responsible keeping the information on the website current and relevant and for supporting the organization of the annual conference.

À propos de nous Le réseau pour la Conservation du patrimoine industriel du Canada a été mis en place par le comité TICCIH Canada, un regroupement d’individus désireux de contribuer à la sensibilisation et à la promotion du patrimoine industriel canadien ainsi qu’au maintien de liens actifs et dynamiques avec, par et pour la collectivité canadienne du patrimoine industriel. L’idée de se donner un site web est née d’un groupe de réflexion réuni lors d’une conférence nationale tenue à Hamilton, Ontario, en octobre 2009 : LA FORCE DE L’INDUSTRIE – CONSERVATION DU PATRIMOINE INDUSTRIEL DU CANADA.   Le comité TICCIH Canada TICCIH est l’abbréviation de THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE CONSERVATION OF INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE, une organisation internationale vouée à la conservation, la documentation, la recherche sur et l’interprétation du patrimoine industriel. Le comité canadien du TICCIH a pour objectif d’appliquer ces actions au Canada. Le comité est constitué d’individus représentants les provinces et/ou régions et sont responsables de tenir l’information du site web à jour et pertinente. Le comité voit à l’organisation de la conférence sur le patrimoine industriel.
